2/26/17 - Covington, KY

I covered the protest rally outside a luncheon featuring Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell at the Hotel Covington. I was impressed by not only the number of people there, but also the diversity of those people. I saw people from every walk of life, including from many different political affiliations. In general, the gathered crowd was very well-behaved from what I could see, and the police at the scene were very professional. All in all, it was nice to see democracy in action.
